Description: This is a 1951 fuchsia aluminum Kentucky Derby cup with the logo of Reynold's Aluminum on one side and "1951 KENTUCKY DERBY" inside a horse shoe on the other. It is marked "Norbert WARE" on the bottom. I see other listings where these cups are called red- perhaps they look red when they are scratched and worn, this one is not. It is 5 inches tall and 2 7/8ths inches across the rim. The base is just over 2 inches. The cup is in extremely fine condition. It has a lustrous surface. No scratches, dents or dings There is a tiny area of surface loss- perhaps where there was a bubble or other flaw in the original coating, shown in the last two photos, and a small amount of wear on the edge of the rim. There are several photos showing this wear. Keep in mind that some of the photos are very enlarged Please ask any questions.
