Description: Magnificent 1950s vintage red fiberglass tapered lamp shade.This lamp shade measures 14 3/4" high, 16" wide at base and 8" wide at top.The fiberglass is rigid, like a sheet of rolled plastic, not soft and cloth like. That swirling string look creates it's own abstracted "Jackson Pollack" painting look that is iconic from 1950s design. Very good condition and all the looping holding the fiberglass to the metal frame top and bottom is intact and original.This red shade is just about as good as mid century modern lamp shades get and is all original.Shipped in a large strong 18" cube box.Questions always welcome and thanks for looking.
