The green Andersen's Fairy Tales volume has staining to pastedown on front cover, else only minor rubbing to extremities. There is some toning to pictorial endpapers in both volumes. The pages and plates in Andersen's Fairy Tales are very lightly toned, clean, tight and whole. The red Grimm's Fairy Tales has heavy toning to spine and rubbing/splitting to top and bottom of spine. Staining especially to top of front board, (some sort of paint it looks like) and stain spots to back board. Light rubbing to board tips. Pages and plates in Grimm's are also lightly toned, clean, tight and whole. The volumes each measure 5 3/4" x 8 1/2."
