Description: 1945 ALLOCATED TOKEN GOOD FOR ONE FARE Bus Coach Transit Token WM 23mm MS13I-VAR This appears to be a variation of the MS13I, as it only has "ALLOCATED TOKEN", but does not say "JOHNSON FARE BOX" or have a JFB anywhere on the token. It does have the *diamonds* on the reverse like MS11A. There doesn't appear to be anything like it offered on the Internet or eBay, but it perhaps has it's own catalog number that is not easy to find. This vintage transit token from 1945 is a great addition to any collection. Measuring 23mm in size, this token was allocated for one fare on the Johnson Fare Box transit system in Chicago, Illinois. The token is made of white metal and has a cut-out design, making it a unique piece of exonumia. The token has been circulated but is still in good condition for its age. It features a unique token ID of TC-234507 and Atwood-Coffee MS 13 I (variation). This is a great opportunity to own a piece of transit history from the United States without breaking the bank. Add this fantastic item to your collection today!
