Description: Wood Jigsaw Puzzle 1944 ~ I date this 1944 because that was the first completed date written on the inside box top. The box identifies this as a “What Fun Picture Puzzle” The title is Village Square and contains 252 pieces. The name on the puzzle is J Chester. Unfortunately, I was unable to find this picture or artist on Google. Nor was it on Bob Armstrong’s website from what I could see. Nice animal figures and unusual shaped pieces included. (See Pictures) Condition: No missing pieces. Numerous pieces missing small sections of plywood. (Please see pictures). A musty smell is present. Box Condition: The box is quite aged.
