Description: HOUR of CHARM DESCRIPTION: This is an UNCUT HOUR of CHARM paper doll book. It was published by Saalfield in 1943. ID#2481. Also included is a photo of the many Singers. The book is COMPLETE & it is NOT A REPRODUCTION. BIO: The Hour of Charm was an old-time radio show that ran from 1934 to 1948, featuring “Phil Spitalny and his All-Girl Singing Orchestra.” It came on the radio every Monday night. There are 6 uncut paper dolls, 2 each of Evelyn (the Magic Violin), Vivien (the famous soprano), and Maxine (the rich contralto). The ladies come with 6 pages of uncut colorful clothes. In addition, at the back of the book, there is a cardboard section of 6 instruments. The book’s size is 11 x 13 inches. This book’s front cover has 3 star-shaped windows, so that you can see the 3 paper doll faces that are actually on the 2nd page. The front cover also includes a picture of the conductor and the members of the orchestra. **VERY NICE CELEBRITY Paper Doll COLLECTIBLE! **As an adult collector, my paper dolls have been stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled room in my house.** CONDITION: The paper dolls and clothes are in overall MINT condition. The front/back covers have minimal shelf wear that is mostly near the book’s edges. The book looks really nice, especially considering that it is 81 years old! SHIPPING: All of my items are carefully packed and quickly shipped! Media shipping in the U.S. is based on 1 lb. The paper doll book will be shipped inside a larger, sturdy box for protection while in transit. Happy to answer any questions. Thank you for viewing my listing!
