The Max Low Company Was Contracted by the U.S. Goverment to Make Military Clocks and This Clock Has a Signed M. Low Movement Made by Chelsea!!! The Clock Measures approx. 7 1/2" in Diameter with a 5 1/2" Dial. The Case is Made of Black Bakelite and Has a 'Hinged' Bezel, with Porthole Style Design. The Dial is the Original Silver Metal Dial with Arabic Numerals, and Large Seconds Sweep Hand, Signed "U.S. Government M. Low" and "M. Low Inc. New York". It Has a Chelsea 8 Day Nickel Mechanical Wind-Up Spring Driven 'Time Only' Movement with Balance Wheel and Lever Escapement, Signed "Low New York A2317-65". This is a Key Wind Clock and Includes a Winding Key. This is Used and in Good Original Condition and Good Working Order. There is Some Paint on the Case, Otherwise Fine!
