Description: 1940s Jantzen Reindeer Sweater Marked Size 40 (could fit 38 to 42) Measurements:Pit to pit relaxed: 20.5" (26" stretched) Waist relaxed: 15" (25" stretched) Description: This is a black and yellow sweater. No, this is not white that has yellowed with age. From everything I can tell this is legitimately black and yellow. The yellow yarn is consistently colored throughout. I personally have never seen a black Jantzen, but I did get confirmation from a few collectors that they do exist. Has maybe 5 to 7 small pulls that could be easily tucked back in with a crochet hoot. No holes that I can find. The wool is still soft and stretchy. I was able to put this on at a size 45" chest and 36" waist, though I looked like a sausage so best advised for a size 40. These sweaters are intended to be very fitted. Slight mothball smell.
