Description: 1939 INDY 500 TICKET STUB. 27th INTERNATIONAL 500 MILE RACE. HELD ON MAY 30. 1939. This belonged to my Dad. I took it out of his scrapbook. It is very solid and the stub came off the page very easy. I could get all the glued paper off but I did not want to damage this ticket stub. This ticket stub is 78 years old! In very very very nice condition! This race was won by Wilber Shaw. This race was notable for a three car accident on lap 109. When Floyd Roberts, the reining champion was killed when his car went through the wooden outer wall at over 100 mph at the back stretch. din rm by buffet
