This 1725 rpm mechanism motor is from a jukebox which was parted out some years ago.It has been tested by me and is good working condition. It draws 0.89 amps at 120 volts a.c. I got this result when I tested it on September 29, 2024.I did oil the bearings but it needs to be cleaned further by the buyer.New black paint to cover the ugly red is also up to the buyer. This motor is used in Wurlitzer models50, 51, 61, 41, 71 and 81. Unfortunately someone removed the mounting rings on each end and they also ground off the pin in the shaft needed to engage the coupling to the mechanism. These defects must be repaired by the buyer. When the motor came to me it had the brass pulley seen in the photos mounted on the shaft. This motor is equipped with an overload protective device. Because of this I believe it is a newer version of the S40 LD frame motor used in the first counter models. The second to last photo is the specifications tag for the S40 LD. The last photo is the tag for the S40 LY which is identical to the S40 LD except for the frame type. It indicates the following:made by: The Emerson Electric Manufacturing Company of St. Louis, Missouriframe: S40 LYrpm: 1725volts / cycles: 110 volts 60 cycle continuous dutycurrent rating: 0.80 amperes at 110 voltshorse power: 1/30th Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
