Description: SGC graded 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics card Graded SGC 4.5 Produced in 1936 by Reemstma / Bilderdienst Cigarettes, these German trading cards feature amazing photos from the 1930's Olympic games! Card #26 features American Hero and Icon Jesse Owens with German athlete Luz Long. Luz and Owens despite their VAST differences became very unlikely friends. Despite being on opposite sides of the War, Long frequently wrote to Owens as his "only friend outside of Germany". SGC grading is a much safer option for these odd-sized antique trading cards than PSA or Beckett's. Their black tuxedo style enclosures not only look great, but also keep the cards safely in place (unlike other companies casing in which you can see the oddball sized cards sliding around inside of).
