Description: This listing is for a nice: 1933 Century of Progress CARTOGRAPH / PICTORIAL MAP OF OHIO It was published by the Ohio Commission to the Century of Progress International Exposition, held in Chicago June 1 to November 1, 1933. It was engraved by the Bucher Engraving Company of Columbus, and the artwork is by Sewah Studios in Marietta. It measures approximately 24" x 19" including a panel of text at the bottom. The condition is good showing some signs of age. It was distributed folded. There is some wear along the creases and some discoloration on the back. Among the named places and features on the map are the Serpent Mound south of Hillsboro, Urbana, Zanesville, Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton, Bellefontaine, Schoenbrun, Mansfield, Upper Sandusky, Toledo, Ashtabula, and Akron — home of the world's largest airship factory.
