Description: Make sure to BOOKMARK OUR EBAY STORE and check out OUR NEWLY LISTED ITEMS This is the original hand-drawn (penciled and inked) art for a great early 1930's Forlorn Figures piece by Clifford McBride, who is well-known for the classic newspaper strip Napoleon. This is quite possibly one of the earlier existing pieces by McBride, and is now more than 85 years old! The piece is in very good overall condition with a few pinhole marks, and still has the 1932 copyright piece attached. The full piece measures approximately 7 1/2" by 9 1/2", and features "Big House inmate who is pardoned just after having been elected captain of the baseball team"! This is a great rare piece of Golden Age original artwork that would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed. Payment to be made within 7 days of auction close. International buyers please contact us for terms before bidding. We reserve the right to cancel any international bids that have not received prior approval.
