Description: This is a nice, original etching "Digging Clams" by Kerr Eby. Produced by the Chicago Society of Etchers. Onion paper cover present. Limited edition of an unspecified number of copies of this plate have been made for associate members of the society the plate cancelled. No more were available except through membership with the Chicago Society of Etchers. Etching signed by artist in pencil. Folder measures measures 14" x 18", matting area measures 16" x 11.5" and etching area measures 12.5" x 8.5" There is some mild surface discoloration and some wear at edges of folder, seal on cover loose but intact, surrounding thin cardboard matte or sleeve has light foxing discoloration overall. etching in good condition.
