1930's Madame Alexander Dionne Quintuplets Composition ALL ORIG SET 5, 7.5" Bed

Description: We are pleased to offer a highly collectible, all original set of Madame Alexander Dionne Quintuplets Dolls in composition, circa 1935. Details of all five Dionne sisters, here as babies - Annette, Cecile, Emelie, Marie and Yvonne, include composition in good condition, showing very little signs of handling, slight paint wear, and light crazing to scattered areas. Their knees are bent and legs are crossed at the ankles, rare. The head, legs and arms move. Very sweet expressions. One arm on Cecile came loose as I was examining each doll. Each is marked on the upper back ALEXANDER doll. Each has her name tattooed on the back of neck. Each has her first initial tattooed behind her ear. The girls wear matching delicate original baby dresses in crisp cotton pastel yellow with lace detailing at the neck, cap sleeve and bottom hem. Each also have original under garments, including pinned diaper and v neck undershirt. Each child wears a beautiful pastel yellow matching bib with their names stitched upon the front and tied in place with ribbons in beautiful pastel colors. Five wonderful pieces of dolly history, housed in a yellow wooden crib for 5, with layers of the original bedding , including a mattress pad, pink covered mattress, pink bottom blanket, pink dotted Swiss long pillow, pink animal decorated bumper pad and finally a pink, top lap blanket. ALL ORIGINAL. I bought these from the original owner who was 92 and recently passed away. A FABULOUS FIND FOR A DOLL COLLECTOR. See all photos for details and ask questions before purchase.
