Description: 1927 Vintage Press Photo by INTERNATIONAL NEWS.Photo shows Miss Evelyn Law, premiere follies dancer, as she appeared in the new suit which was provided for her by Captain Walter of the S.S. Caledonia, which makes her a member of the staff. Captain Walter was so pleased with her generous offer, volunteering to go abroad on the Caledonia to help entertain New York American Legion delegates on their way to the France convention, that he made her his aide. Miss Law's father, John Law, spent his life in the navy and is a retired U.S. Lieutenant Commander, so Miss Law comes naturally by her love for the sea. Photo is Dated: May 5, 1927.
