1918 WWI Photo History of the Great War in Dutch, w/ gov't stamps from O.N.I

Description: WWI 1918 Illustrated History of the Great War in Photos Dutch, stamps from O.N.I This 40-page, illustrated history of WWI in pictures was printed in the Netherlands as:"De Groote Oorlog in Beeld." In ink above the title, someone has written this translation of the title: "The Great War in Illustration." There are stamps inked on the front cover from the Office of Naval Intelligence: "Received1918 Aug 29 PM 4:13 Mail Room O.N.I." and:"Serials DivisionSample File" Inside the front cover is stamped:"By TransferAPR 19 1926" There is plenty of wear to this publication, but the illustrations and text are in good shape. The pages are not held by the cover, but are all present. Yellowing to pages. Pages are becoming quite brittle. Chipping to page edges. Some fading to cover photo. I have not photographed all of the photos, but they are really a nice history. Measures about 7.5 x 11.25 inches. Really an interesting publication. I believe there were several for each of the years of WWI, but this is the only volume I have. My late mother was a photographer who collected antique photos and historical documents of all types for years. As I am settling her estate, I will be listing these items as quickly as I am able. There are hundreds of photos to go through, and I am trying to match any information my mother may have left with individual photos. Unfortunately, Mom had dementia at the end of her life and wasn't able to tell me much about her collection. She had done a lot of research into photographers and individual pieces in her collection, and often, but not always, filed her research with the photo(s). I search for more information on the internet and in history books, but it's a slow process and it will take me a long time to complete the sorting and selling process.
