A great find from a local New England estate! This scarce antique volume is over 114 years old! This antique illustrated volume is in great condition overall! Original publisher softcover binding shows some light wear, including some rubbing and light soiling to the boards and spine, some writing to the front cover in both pen in pencil, some general wear around the extremities including bumping to the corners and chipping spine extremes, and some rubbing and soiling to the page edges. Otherwise this is a tight, well-preserved antique volume! Internally, this volume is in good shape as well. Both boards and all page groupings remain attached to the stapled binding; the front board is a bit loose due to some cracking at the hinge. There are no signatures, inscriptions, bookplates or library markings to note. The text block of this volume is very clean throughout. Pages show just light toning typical of age, and perhaps the odd spot of light soiling and foxing, but are otherwise clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings.
