This Volume is illustrated with a monochrome plate as the frontispiece. Collated, complete.Swinburne was an English poet, playwright and novelist of the nineteenth century. CONDITION In Riviere signed half calf bindings and cloth boards. Externally, very smart. There is some minor wear to the heads and tails of the spines and to the extremities. The front joint of Volumes I and V are starting but firm. There is some minor rubbing to the leather to the extremities. Prior owner's book plates to the first pastedowns. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the odd spot and light age toning.
