Picture Out Of our Past. "The game of games was the one against the Tulane Freshmen. Several of the players on the Freshmen's team were High School players of last year, and becoming jealous of the record this year's team was making, thought they could show us that last year's team was far superior to the present one. "The game drew a large crowd, but it began to rain just as the game commenced and continued to pour down until by the time the first half was over the water stood ankle-deep in some places. The rest of the game was played in a heavy rainstorm, which made it difficult for the audience to see clearly. The team wishes to thank their young lady friends who braved the elements to cheer the team on to victory. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated --1903.
