The book was printed in January; 1898 in Silver City, Idaho by Press of the Owyhee Avalanche Dedicated to those Pioneers who pinned their faith to the ultimate prosperity of Owyhee County, and expended their "bottom dollar" to achieve that result. 141 written pages of which 38 pages have photos/illustrations (mostly photos). There are directories of most towns in the county. The Index lists the directories. There are also 38 pages of portrait photos, most are 4 photos to a page, (I saw several illustrations). There's a biography section (great genealogy information) that gives detailed information about the person. There is also a publisher's mistake - one of the portrait pages is in the book twice. Index has these listed alphabetically by Name/Page. There is also a 14-page Appendix that lists many advertisers throughout the County.
