Heavy wear to extremities with wear along edges and rubbed corners. Heavy soiling and discoloration to surface of boards. Gilt lettering on front board clean and bright, along with lettering on spine. Spine worn with loss at head and tail. Binding exposed at ends. End papers in front and rear are heavily toned with moderate chipping to edges. Front few leaves are nearly dislodged from binding. Front gutter tender with binding mesh exposed. Internally good with light toning at edges and minor instances of foxing. 28 pp folded at edge improperly, 75 pp underlining with pen. Free of other known marginalia. Binding shaken.
