Description: 1880’s Charlie Ganzel cabinet card. Published by Taylor of Detroit. Charlie caught alongside Charlie Bennett for MLB Detroit and Boston as backup. Charlie eventually took over as starting catcher in Boston when Charlie Bennett lost his legs in a train mishap. Ganzel would eventually be replaced as starter by killer Marty Bergen.
