This 1880 Winfield Scott Hancock Political Campaign Token belonged to a friend on mine that recently passed away. He had a small political collection put together in the 1950's & 1960's of about fifty pieces that I will be selling over the next couple months in my other listings. This 1880 Winfield Scott Hancock Presidential Campaign token is clean, remains bright overall and has a small hole near the top (see photos). The medal is well struck, measures approximately 25mm and appears made of brass or bronze metal (see photos). The reverse shows Hancock's unit insignia from the Civil War and has the, "superb soldier" - "model president" slogan (see photos). This is a very nice/clean original 1880 Winfield Scott Hancock presidential campaign token that would be excellent for display with a political collection.
