This volume is part of the last series of classical dictionaries edited by William Smith, an English lexicographer. The other portions of the series included A Dictionary of Greek and Roman Antiquities and A Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology. This particular volume is the first half of a series that focused on important countries, regions, towns, villages, and cities that were found in Greek and Latin literature. The issues with the binding could provide a great opportunity for restoration, if desired. FORN-ABE-MSB-Shelf-589-jr126
