Covers and spine have age-related wear, with a tear on the right side of the title on the spine. Pages have age-related toning and foxing. Images are in good condition and clear to see. Ex-library with the previous owner's name written in pen on a title page and the owner's library coat of arms included on the inside front cover. Some pencil inscriptions on the first page. This volume is part of the last series of classical dictionaries edited by William Smith, an English lexicographer. This particular volume is the first half of a series that focused on important countries, regions, towns, villages, and cities that were found in Greek and Latin literature.
