Description: 1877 Federalsburg Maryland Tintype Photo Baby Mother’s Face Hidden Marked Up. About 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches. Condition as seen in photos. Writing on back of sleeve. Tintype surface pretty nice. Mother’s face is marked up, seemingly to “hide” her. Her face is sort of cut off in the image anyway. I cannot tell how the marks on her face were done. It does seem to be as dark as the black on the corners.
