Description: Rare original antique 1857 copy of "Raphael's Prophetic Almanac: Being the Prophetic Messenger, Weather Guide, and Ephemeris for 1857." The almanac is overall in good condition with some signs of wear and age. It is softcover, bound in plain yellow wrappers which have some soiling and crease lines. The almanac retains its lovely original hand colored folding Hieroglyphic plate. The interior is toned from age with the occasional light bit of foxing &grubbiness. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, minor stain or marking, etc. Generally though, it's a good copy. The almanac measures approximately 7 1/4 inches by 4 1/4 inches and is 120 pages long. Please look at all the photos to further note the condition.
