NN nach dem westlich benachbarten Großen Beerberg (983 m) – der dazwischen liegende Sattel ist nur um ca. 60 m tiefer als die beiden Gipfel – die zweithöchste Erhebung des Thüringer Waldes. Nach Osten folgt in einiger Entfernung sein Nebengipfel Sachsenstein (915 m), nach Süden schließen sich Teufelskreise (967 m) und Fichtenkopf (944 m) an. Der noch weiter südlich folgende Goldlauterberg (866 m) markiert bereits den Übergang zum Großen Finsterberg (944 m). Buyer pays shipping at cost.
