Pages have age-related toning and foxing throughout. Edges of pages have age-related wear and toning. Back page is ripped, and pencil inscriptions on that page and back inside cover. Lorenzo Dow was an American Evangelist who was said to have preached to more people than any other in his time. This work serves as his autobiography, which was the second highest selling book at the time, only behind the Bible. His preaching was seen as eccentric, but would attract open-air crowds of over 10,000 people. His pro-abolition stance led to his preachings to be unpopular in the south.
