Manuscript spine has chipped slightly. Contemporary ownership of historian John Pocock dated 1958, Cambridge on flyleaf in blue ink. Interior good with light toning and minor instances of foxing. Free of known markings. Binding slightly shaken, but intact. Please see photos. Carlo Denina (1731-1813) was an Italian historian who wrote from a nationalistic perspective. This direction significantly differed from other historians who mainly wrote on “city state” or “localized” manner during that time. These volumes were considered his best works. VOLUME I ONLY.
