Description: -Note, the pics in auction came out a little blurry, the actual film is crisp and sharp...-ALSO NOTE: PLEASE PAY PROMPTLY WITHIN 48 HOURS OF AUCTION ENDING, I ONLY WANT TO MAKE ONE TRIP TO THE POST OFFICE DURING THIS TIME, THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING... Offered is a 16mm movie film of 1972 Munich track and field events (mostly track events as I recall). The film runs around 250ft, is b/w, and is silent. That would be around 7minutes of footage here... Roughly. It is a film produced by Canada, by the 'Coaching Association of Canada'.It has different shots of various events, like hurdles, speed walking(?), running races, and so on.While there is no footage of the 5000meter, there is I believe, footage of the 10,000 meter final, you can see in the photos, Frank Shorter (looks like Steve Prefontaine, but isn't ), and also Lasse Viren who won that race. There is maybe four or five clips from that race? Beyond the televised broadcasts of the events, footage from these events is rare. This is an obscure film, though professionally produced, it's likely close to one of a kind at this point. Film is in excellent condition. NO Vinegar! Please write with any questions... See my other auctions for more rare stuff this week... thanks for looking. Shipping is $7 priority. foriegn shipping is at $25
