Description: 1/6-Scale Custom Action Figure The Red Hood / Jason Todd from "Batman: Under the Red Hood" by Albert Gaa For sale is a custom 1/6-scale (12") action figure of the Red Hood / Jason Todd, straight from the comic book (and animated adaptation) "Batman: Under the Red Hood." This fully-articulated action figure is a unique, one-of-a-kind item, commissioned and produced to celebrate and depict the main villain/anti-hero from "Under the Red Hood." Jason Todd was the second Robin, and Bruce Wayne's second ward, whose anger and recklessness eventually lead to a lethal confronation with the Joker. Now, a resurrected Jason Todd has returned, donning the Red Hood moniker that the Joker himself used before becoming the Clown Prince of Crime. Todd's return highlights a more lethal brand of vigilante justice that the Batman refuses to dish out - with the ultimate aim of both avenging himself on the Joker and forcing Batman to confront his greatest failure. Trained by Bruce Wayne, and later Talia al Ghul, the Red Hood is well-armed, highly-skilled, and extra dangerous thanks to his ability to compromise both Batman's methods and his secret identity! A lot of attention to detail was paid in the creation of this custom action figure by Albert Gaa, including the beautiful brown leather jacket (complete with tiny, 1/6 scale zippers), the shiny silver shirt underneath, the custom-painted gloves and boots, the shaping of the custom headsculpt, and the bevy of appropriate accessories - complete with a custom stand and a neat little box. Every aspect of this figure's creation and costume comes sraight from the comics and animated adaptation, making it a perfect rendition. I'm not sure which body-type was used underneath, but it must be fairly similar to what's standard on the market, given its full articulation in the arms, torso, neck, and legs. This figure is quite sturdy and stands quite easily on its own, without the need to use the stand if not desired. Accessories included are: Assalit rifle (with removable clip and hinged sight and stock) Two submachine guns Two smoke grenades Two handguns/pistols Crowbar (for dispensing poetic justice to the Joker!) Two duffelbags (severed mob boss heads not included!) Two "gripping" hands, for holding the above accessories One right fist (for fistfights, if your action figures prefer hand-to-hand combat!) It was displayed but not played with, and never took a shelf dive (thanks to those sturdy legs) and has never been damaged. The top of the headsculpt appears to have a bit of discoloration - this was from the original artist's paintjob, and you can choose to simply touch it up with a simple coat of red paint (with a nearly smooth headsculpt, even a non-artist without experience would find this easy and painless) or choose to do what I did and just leave it as-is. Batman 1/6-scale figures have been one of my passions for more than a decade, but due to life circumstances, it's time for me to start letting a few of them go and move on - hopefully, these custom figures can find new homes in the collections of other Bat-fanatics.
