16" Antique German China Head Doll A W Kister Civil War 1860 Flat Boots

Description: 16" A W Kister Antique center part China head from the Civil War Era 1860. They are often described as plain and abundant and I guess they are compared to the ones with fancy hairdo and embellishments but rarely are they found in perfect condition on the original body and both china legs intact. This lovely ladies head measures 4" tall and there are no cracks, chips or repairs. She is on her original body with pink luster lower china arms. There is a chip on right thumb. She also has both her china lower legs with laced black bootsxwith flat heel. There is paint wear but no chips to feet. Her body has patches and repairs but is very solid and dressed well protected. Her clothes consist of drawer string bloomers, 2 petticoats, and a button front dress that has hidden snaps beneath the buttons. It is made of antique fabric.
