The skull has a large cabochon garnet in the top. This garnet is deep blood red and appears almost black even in bright light. The skull has two vibrant garnet eyes. The garnets appear darker in dim light, but glimmer with wine red color in bright light. Both shoulders of the ring are made from 3-dimensional cherubs. Each cherub is beautifully formed. The cherubs' heads touch the sides of skull and their little bodies form the shoulders of the ring. The back of the ring narrows to a simple half-round band in back.
