Description: Add some color to your basket with these beautiful blue fertile hatching eggs! This listing is for ONE DOZEN+ eggs. I always send extras just to help ensure a successful hatch. You can expect an excellent fertility rate; our eggs have had very high hatching rates both in incubators and under our broodie hens. I do frequent fertility checks and it is near 100%. The eggs pictured come from our flock of free range happy hens. You can expect fluffy cheeks, muffs, beards, Mohawks and possibly feathered feet. I have black americauna hens and a rooster that carry the lavender gene so some of your pure americaunas could hatch out a highly desired lavender color. Also in my flock are cream legbar which lay many large and gorgeous blue eggs. SHIPPING: Eggs will be shipped priority USPS mail carefully wrapped and laid within 24 hours of shipping. Upon receiving the hatching eggs, they should be placed pointy side down for 48 hours to settle prior to setting them in the incubator or under your broody. I offer calculated shipping so you’re not getting gouged on price (at least not by me). I prefer to ship on Monday through Wednesday to minimize days spent in the postal system. Hatch rates cannot be guaranteed although I am happy to give tips for incubating success and if something terrible happens with your incubation, I am always happy to help you troubleshoot and offer replacement eggs for just the cost of shipping. Basically, I want you the customer to be happy and experience the joy of raising chickens as I have! Shipping eggs does decrease the overall hatch rate and for this reason, I try to include at least 3 extra eggs with each order. Please remember, shipping hatching eggs is a risk but I do everything possible on my end to ensure the best possible outcome for hatching success. I collect eggs regularly, at least three times per day and then carefully store them for a maximum of two days before shipping.
