Description: This listing is for a mixed lot of 100+ medium-size pieces, about 5 pounds, of clean and dry all-natural Mobile Bay Alabama driftwood, perfect for any kind of art or craft project. Most of these pieces will be great for drilling holes in for mobiles or windchimes. Every piece is all-natural driftwood from Mobile Bay collected near Fairhope AL, just as found, not cut to size. Our driftwood is sorted by size and thoroughly rinsed off with fresh water several times. It is never cleaned with soap, bleach, or other chemicals. It is in it's pristine natural condition. We allow our driftwood to sun-dry outdoors for at least two weeks. Then we sort it a second time to remove any wood that is not in good condition and then is stored indoors until final packing. The shapes are wildly random and varied, from chunky pieces to small diameter driftwood sticks. There are always some twisty and weird shapes. Some of the pieces have old barnacle shells attached and some are perforated with worm holes due to being underwater for a long time. All the critters are long gone! There are several types of wood included such as oak, pine, cypress, cedar, juniper, walnut and camphor. The average size of the driftwood pieces is 2 to 6 inches. The smallest chunky pieces are 2 to 3 inches long, the longest sticks are about 10-12 inches long. The photos show a typical lot. The actual driftwood pieces you will receive will be as good, or better! We personally select and pack every piece of driftwood. This lot will be packed in a 12 inch x 12 inch x 6 inch box and will ship the same or next day after purchase by USPS Priority Mail or UPS if less expensive.
